A getaway in the area

Our small village Lemwerder has some nice old churches, the river "Weser" and wonderful places for cycle touring.

5 minutes away from the stud + ferry:
At the other side of the river "Weser", you will find the north part of Bremen: Vegesack.
There is a historical port, the shopping mall "Haven-Höövt" and very good restaurants with fresh seafood.

15 minutes away from the stud:
In the nearby village of Hude, there are the remains of an anciet convent. The construction was built in the 13th century by "Zisterzienser". You can visit the ruins and a museum. There is also a very nice restaurant attached.

30 minutes away from the stud:
Very old Bremer district with narrow alleys, shops of decorative arts and nice restaurants.

30 minutes away from the stud:
Promenade at the river "Weser" with special flair, especially during christmas- and summer-time.

35 minutes away from the stud:
The city of Oldenburg offers a nice pedestrian precinct with a lot of good shops and restaurants, the Oldenburger castle, museums and parks.

Our county, with the main city Brake, is surrounded by nature, water, a lot of animals and small farms. There are nice holiday destinations for families and interesting places for bike touring.

The city has a lot of attractions: The museum "Klimahaus", the German Emigration Centre, a zoo, a port with seafood-restaurants and the "Mediterraneo".

1 hour away from the stud:
You can get to the North Sea very fast. There you will find a lot of nice beaches, seaside cities and connections to Islands like Norderney, Borkum and Spiekeroog.
