Dam line
Dam Anjelou’s sire is Belstaff by Brentano II, successful to Grand Prix level, and, in addition to Douglas, she produced two fillies by German Champion Devonport in 2017 and 2018. She was ridden before being used as a broodmare and showed exceptional rideability. The Alraune damline, which carries in the third generation the blood of the famous Heideblüte/Heida line via Marius, has produced the following full siblings of grand dam Anouk:
Belucci was successful in advanced dressage. Under Malte Erichs, he won gold at the North German Youth Championships, along with Boilando, Bonserano and Bahatisha. Grand dam Anouk also produced catalogue number 28 of the 58th Summer Mixed Auktion with Beau Rivage by Borowski and son Daylano by Daddy Cool, who was successful in both dressage and show-jumping.
Sires
Devonport was a celebrated German Champion at the age of four. Aged 5, he placed in the grand final of the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses before being sold to a prestigious dressage stall in Denmark. His foals know how to be the centre of attention with their great movement.
Belstaff himself was successful to Grand Prix level. His son Baltimore Dee impressed the judges to intermediate I level.
The third sire Boitano also sired Ballentine’s, who was successful internationally to the advanced level under Sören Pedersen (Dänemark). Ballentine’s was also successful in puissance with Oldenburger auctioneer Fabian Kühl. Boitano also sired Bonserano and Boy Man in show-jumping and Boilando and Belluci in the dressage. Thanks to Zeus and Lucky Boy xx - Furioso xx, Boitano has modern, high-performance blood with Anglo-Norman roots. In the fifth generation is the stallion Forscher, who also established the pedigree of the legendary stamp stallion Donnerhall.
