Origin
Dam line
Carey hails from the Holsteiner 2837 line. The aunts of this young colt are particularly successful. Canberra by Cyrano won 16 advanced show-jumping titles with Torsten Tönjes and Cantara was successful at the advanced level, too, with Sören Pedersen. Another sister, Lady Madonna by Landor S, produced the eventing horse Qualidor by Quality (1.30 m show-jumper and elementary dressage).
Sires
Casalido is an all-rounder. He is a great horse with a fantastic jump and lovely manners – what more could you want? He has now made a name for himself in the sport internationally.
Damsire Cador is also internationally successful and was crowned Oldenburger Stallion of the Year (VTV Stallion of the Year).
With Ahorn Z and Calypso I in the pedigree, Acalwahn carries the very best Holsteiner blood. He was active in Hesse and sired multiple advanced-level champion Amour (Frank Plock) and Aladin by ZYX (Marcus Wenz).
