Dam line
Christie’s dam, Charlene K, started her career as an auction foal at the Hanoverian elite auction. She has three exceptional gaits. Her first foal by Casino Berlin became top of his class and was approved for the elite auction.
Grand dam state premium mare Virginia K was the best in her mare performance test. Grand-grand dam Sojanara was a highly successful broodmare. Her first daughter Cuba Libre went over 1.50 m in Scandinavia. Her son Veterano was successful to 1.50 metres in the US and daughter Serena HF placed to CSI3* level.
The damline descends from licensed stallions Granit by Galan, Lightsong by Light On OLD as well as internationally successful sport horses Chiara by Come On (1.60 m), Cuba Libre by Campari M (1.50 m), Veterano by Voltaire (1.50 m) and many others besides.
Sires
Casino Grande reflects the Sosath breeding objective. In addition to an exceptional jump, great manners and modern movement, he is extremely true-to-type. He is currently well on his way to become a big name in elite international competitions.
Canturano himself jumped internationally with Gerco Schröder. He is now in high demand as a sire and boasts a great ranking on the international Progeny Value List. Some of the world’s best riders, including Steve Guerdat, Martin Fuchs, Katharina Offel, Christian Ahlmann, Jeroen Dubbeldam and Pius Schwizer, are currently highly successful at the international level with Canturano’s offspring, including Evita, Chica B Z, Daimler and Dokyra Fortuna. Canturano also bequeaths his offspring great movement: He produced the 2017 Junior Dressage Champion in France and many of his other offspring compete in the dressage ring.
Stamp stallion Voltaire sired over 120 stallions and wowed judges in the international sport arena with Jos Lansink. Two of his best-known offspring are Concorde and Kannan.
