Dam line
Cindy comes from the Holsteiner line 18B1, the famous “Roman” line, which also produced Quality.
The Holsteiner line 18b1 is one of the oldest and most successful mare lines, producing impressive stallions such as Nimmerdor, Carolus, Carry, Cantus and Quantum. The line has also proven its ability to produce top sport horses, such as Catwalk, Cöster (C. Ahlmann), Queen Liesa (T. Haßmann), Cagliostro (N. Forsten), Lady Angela (H. Dreher) and Romulus (O. Becker) – just some of the names to represent the line at the highest levels internationally.
The direct damline of this filly has produced two licensed stallions, Laudon and Chamberlain, as well as several sport horses who have found show-jumping success to the 1.60-metre level: Co-Jack (R. Sottas), Candaletto, Buffy (T. Holz), Quo Vadis (T. da Costa).
Other licensed stallions from the line include Constant, Chin Champ, Quality, Quantum, Laudon, Placido van Paemel, Alisco van Paemel, Legendär I and Legendär II, and Lionell.
Askaban, Campesino, Romulus, Cagliostro, Askaban, Co-Jack, Catwalk and Gucci of Roses have all been highly successful in the show-jumping arena to the advanced four-star level. In terms of dressage, Grand Prix winner Hetman Sahaydachniy is of note, and in eventing, Image of Roses placed at the CCI3* level.
