This colt from Diamant de Plaisir showed off his pure joy at jumping at the foal show, galloping over the fences several times. In combination with a very successful dam and grand dam, he has great potential for show-jumping.

Rider Christian Temme: “I won numerous advanced show-jumping competitions with grand dam Zallina and rode in my first 1.50-metre international show-jumping course. I was successful in the young horse tests with the foal’s dam before she became a broodmare. Her full brother Chicharito was the Oldenburger Regional Champion at the age of four, qualified for the German Championships age the age of five and recently qualified for the German Championships in the six-year-old show-jumpers category with a 9.5. As the rider of all of these horses, I can say that the whole family fights on behalf of the rider. All of the horses have an exceptional attitude and take great care when jumping.”

The direct predecessors of this colt have enjoyed success in show-jumping. The dam Cellestina was successful in the young horse tests before she became a broodmare. Her brother Chicharito was the Oldenburger Regional Champion at the age of four, qualified for the German Championships age the age of five and recently won the qualifiers for the German Championships in the six-year-old show-jumpers category with a 9.5. Grand dam Zallina won numerous advanced show-jumping titled and competed internationally to the 1.50-metre level.

Her half-brother Loredus by Lordanos was licensed for the Oldenburg International show-jumper breeding association and won the 70-day test.

Sires

Diamant de Plaisir is a very special sire with the exceptional blood of stallions of the century Diamant de Semilly x For Pleasure x Landor S. He is also an exceptional sport horse, becoming Hanoverian Champion at the age of four, placing very well at the German Championships at the ages of five and six, and achieving his first successes in the two-star advanced jumping category at the age of seven.

Cellestial was declared Oldenburger Stallion of the Year (VTV Stallion of the Year) as a result of his performance and his successful offspring. Almost 30 of his sons have been licensed. His desirable blood connection comes from damsire Windesi xx.

Many of his offspring have become regional champions in the show-jumping arena, but several have also made names for themselves in the dressage.
